New flights to Turkey starting from this October

It has been reported this week that there has been a boost in flights with Turkish Airlines, Lyfthansa and SunExpress launching more flights to Turkey starting from this October till March 2024.

The Turkish carriers will be offering three flights per week from London’s Stansted to Turkey’s Izmir region. The London Airport currently flies to Bodrum, Dalaman, Antalya, Istanbul and Ankara.

SunExpress is said to be adding over 2,000 flights to Turkey to accommodate the on-going demand. Records show that SunExpress flew a total of around 10 million passengers from January to September reaching its all-time high and it for sure will exceed its target of welcoming 12 million passengers by the end of this year.

He went on to say “With the new SunExpress services starting to Izmir and Antalya, Adana and Gaziantep from next summer, passengers from London and the East of England will have even more options to explore this wonderful country.”

The Antalya-based Southwind Airline has also launched a new flight schedule for 2024. There will be flights operating from ten UK cities to Antalya and from one UK city to Dalaman.
