One of the activities which is a ‘must’ when visiting North Cyprus is exploring its many historical streets, with each one offering something completely different.

Wandering and exploring the streets in North Cyprus gives you the chance to really experience the culture, you can get a look into the everyday lives of the locals and enjoy some fantastic sites along the way.

The beautiful region of Kyrenia offers a variety of amenities all of which are intertwined in its picturesque streets. You can wander round the shops and markets, unwind in one of the many pubs and restaurants, visit the Anicent Sunken Ship Museum in the historic Kyrenia Castle and then make your way down to the harbour.

The streets of Famagusta offer history and amazing architecture like the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque and its unique courtyard which is home to a 720 year old sycamore tree.     

Nicosia has some incredible streets that are filled with the scent of citrus.

In every street you will always see the locals relaxing in their chairs and having a good conversation or telling great stories.
