Turkish Airlines Named Europe’s Best for the Eighth Time

Singapore Airlines may have just been named the World’s best, but who do you think claimed the top spot in Europe? Turkish Airlines of course…and for the eighth time I might add!

Held at the Paris Air Museum and Judged by Skytrax, who are the International Organization tasked with Air Transport rating, Turkish Airlines also won top spot for Southern Europe, Business Class and Economy Class Catering, and Best Economy Seat.

Last year, the airline was responsible for carrying a total of 72 million passengers to their destinations, of which just over 46 million were international travellers. Showing excellent growth signs for 2023, passenger numbers also increased by 29% in the first five months of 2023, when compared to the same period of 2022.

Having commenced in 1999 the awards are not only totally independent and therefore rely solely upon customer feedback, but all associated costs are also covered by Skytrax to ensure an impartial process & decision throughout.

Ahmet Bolat who is the Chairman of the Board & Executive Committee was overjoyed with the judges decision commenting that ‘We will continue to improve our service standards, providing the best possible experiences for our guests’.
