Turkey removed from the “Grey Zone” list

Back in October 2021 Turkey was placed on list by the Global Financial Watchdog due to failing to supervise vulnerable sectors like real estate, banking and other sectors, but that is no more.

Mehmet Simsek, the Turkish Finance Minister has announced that Turkey has been struck off the list due to the amount of progress that has been made to improve financing of terrorism and anti-money laundering.

Finance Minister Simsek shall be continuing to put Turkey back on a safe financial track and will bring back the confidence in the country.
