Akbuk was originally a small fishing village and even though much has changed over the years it still has managed to maintain its small resort atmosphere and traditional Turkish charm. The resort is set around a wonderful bay stretching 11 kilometres and enjoys a beautiful backdrop of the Kiran Mountains.

The resort enjoys a nice selection of upmarket restaurants set along its traditional seafront, there are some lovely Turkish ones too, as well as a great selection of bars, shops and several small supermarkets.
