Side International Culture and Arts Festival - This is the biggest event of the year. You will be able to enjoy a variety of open air concerts and jazz and ballroom dancing in the ancient amphitheatre and Temple of Apollo (23rd July - 17th Sept)
Manavgat Culture and Tourism Festival - This event is held in Manavgat, which is just a 20 minute drive away and gives the tourists a chance to get involved with local culture. There will be much to enjoy like traditional folk music, dancing and delicious Turkish cuisine - (date to be confirmed)

Temple of Apollo-
Come and visit the incredible Temple of Apollo. This amazing temple can be found at the end of Side’s Peninsula and is a popular choice with the tourists. Side is built around many ancient ruins. The famous amphitheater can be seen at the opposite end of the temple. Visiting the temple in the late afternoon or early evening is recommended so you can catch the stunning view of the sun setting behind it. This truly is a sight that needs to be seen.
Under Water Museum-
The Side Underwater Museum is the first and only one of its kind in Turkey and Europe. Turkey’s first underwater museum, which includes 110 pieces of sculptures positioned on the seabed, 1.5 nautical miles off the coast of Turkey’s southern resort town of Side. The museum aims to demonstrate the interaction between art and environmental science and form a complex reef structure for marine life to colonize, inhabit and increase biomass on a grand scale. The sculptures were lowered into place at three different depth zones that will be accessible to all divers, whether amateur, semi-professional or professional.
Side has a few Horse Riding Centres that are open and will cater to all, whether you are an enthusiast or a beginner. Horse riding is offered for all ages from 6 years old. The riding centre is located around the resort and within the scenic pine forest of Sorgun and Titreyengol. This really does make a nice day out for all the family.
