In the upcoming year, Scotland’s two major airports will have additional low-cost flight options to Turkey.
Pegasus Airlines
This summer, Edinburgh-Istanbul flights will be offered by Pegasus Airlines. It will run the route to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. Bookings for one-way rates starting at £49.99 per person are currently open, and flights will depart on June 27. At 3:30 p.m., services departing Edinburgh will be flown by Airbus A320 and A321neo aircraft.
SunExpress
On the other hand, SunExpress is scheduled to arrive at Glasgow airport in the summer of 2025 and will operate four weekly flights to Antalya and two weekly flights to Dalaman. This new airline, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, will add about 1,200 extra seats each week to Glasgow.
Easy Jet
Additionally, starting in May 2025, Easy Jet will travel to Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey from London Southend Airport (SEN).
