The Bodrum-Kos route may enter a new age in 2027 when a fast catamaran is added, cutting travel durations to as little as 17 minutes.
Yeşil Marmaris Lines’ plans for the upcoming season have gained attention since the high-speed catamaran NAİM TUGAY, a member of the line’s fleet, arrived at Kos Port on Monday, October 5th.
NAİM TUGAY intends to start official services on the Bodrum-Kos line by April 2027, according to a Kos newspaper. It can accommodate 460 passengers and hopes to cut the travel time down to as low as 17 minutes. Yeşil Marmaris Lines already uses the catamaran on the Marmaris-Rhodes route.
Along with the departure timetable, it was also claimed that the price might be about 25 euros, but that has not yet been confirmed.
According to Greek press sources, Yeşil Marmaris Lines has expanded its fleet with four additional speedboats. For the next season, the business is planning new services to Rhodes, Symi, and Astypalaia in addition to Kos from Bodrum. The goal is to establish additional maritime transport connections from Bodrum to several Greek islands.
It is anticipated that details will be finalized in the near future.
