Good news, Turkey is on its way back, with more flights for next year, Jet 2 announces it will be flying weekly from Newcastle into Bodrum, along with new routes too from Glasgow and Stansted into Bodrum and Edinburgh into Antalya and Dalaman. Jet 2 day this will increase there capacity by 60 per cent and bring in an extra 140,000 people. There should also be more flights for Birmingham and Belfast to come.
Thomas Cook have also announced an increase in sales for this year, and larger planes are being placed onto some routes to help cope with the increased numbers for this year. Next year they too will be increasing capacity into turkey.

LOW-COST carrier Jet 2 is to fly Newcastle to Bodrum from May 3, 2018 Voices can reveal.
Checking flights for 2018, Voices noticed that Newcastle option to fly to Bodrum has been enabled, meaning a flight for 1 person for 1 week from May 3-10 will cost £170 return (£106 to Bodrum, £66 to Newcastle)
The flight from Newcastle will be weekly, on Thursdays.
The news comes a week after Jet 2 officially announced it was flying to Turkey from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports in 2018.
From Edinburgh, it will fly to Antalya and Dalaman.
From Glasgow, it will fly to Bodrum.
Independent.ie confirms that Ryan Air has announced its first ever direct flights from Dublin to Turkey. There will be two new routes from Dublin and Bratislava, Slovakia, which will operate to and from Dalaman from June 2018.
Voices reveals that Thomas Cook is expanding flights out from Gatwick to Turkey. From May 2018 there will be an extra 140,000 seats a year. The airline will be operating two additional daily flights from Gatwick from May 24 to October 21, 2018.
Voices can also reveal that TUI has declared that 2019 will be the most ambitious year yet boasting 720,000 new seats, 40 new routes and 16 new resorts.
From Doncaster Sheffield, will fly to Bodrum. Options to Antalya.
From East Midlands, it will fly to Antalya and Dalaman.
Exeter, flights to Antalya.
Liverpool, will be offering a new route to Dalaman.
Birmingham, offers new flights to Izmir, plus additional flights to Antalya and Dalaman.
