A number of airline representatives including Huseyin Keskin the General Manager of the State Airports Authority and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ismail Kurt, got together to discuss a plan to double Antalya’s Airport capacity.
The plans to increase capacity is so that flights and passenger traffic can be managed more effectively and efficiently.
Last year in 2023 Antalya Airport saw passenger traffic totalling 35,538,387 with 29,204,383 international passengers and 6,334,004 domestic passengers.
The meeting came to an end with stakeholders agreeing to take the next steps to ease congestion and other issues.
