Akbuk
There will be a new festival in the neighbourhood from May 29th to May 31st. Akbuk Beach and the surrounding area will host the inaugural Sport Aviation Festival.
The festival, which is anticipated to significantly increase Didim’s tourism potential and sporting diversity, has received a wide invitation from the organizing committee. The event, which is organized in association with Didim Sportive Aviation and the Didim Youth and Sports District Directorate, includes skydiving, hang gliding, paragliding, daily air shows, and paramotor demonstrations.
Festival Event Highlights
Event Times: Every day from early morning to the early evening, there are activities and aviation displays.
Entertainment: In addition to the aerial entertainment, the festival grounds feature food trucks, music, and family-friendly outdoor activities.
Transportation: Local excursion companies usually run round-trip transfer shuttles to the Akbuk coastline from Didim’s center regions and neighbouring communities.
Mavişehir
With its new appearance, Didim’s Mavişehir Market is preparing for the season. Its infrastructure has been updated, including the landscaping and retail furnishings.
After extensive renovations costing 20 million lira, the Mavişehir Market and the nearby Atatürk Culture and Living Area (Atatürk Kěür ve Yaşam Alanı) reopened on the May 19th. Beautiful landscaping, improved pedestrian routes, and updated drainage systems are all elements of the recently renovated area.
Opening Details:
Grand Opening: In honor of Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day, the fully renovated space formally reopened to the public on May 19th.
Opening Hours: Every day from late morning until late evening, the night market and nearby stores are usually open.
Location: Directly behind the Mavişehir Bus Station on the waterfront in Mavişehir, Didim.
Kusadasi
With the arrival of multiple cruise ships with 8,514 passengers and crew today, Kuşadası Port appears to be busy.
The Bahamian-flagged Seabourn Venture docked alongside the Malta-flagged Celebrity Infinity, Celestyal Discovery, and Marella Voyager.
Thousands disembarked into the city as usual, or departed on scheduled tours to see Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary.
