As Turkiye continues its quest for dominance of the Global Tourism Industry, Hilton Hotels are planning on boosting their overall presence in the country with not one, not two, but eleven new establishments across the country starting with the new Hilton Istanbul Airport which will feature 491 rooms & a huge business hub that’s perfect for the commercial traveller.

Already having over 34 hotels in the country, as well as over 70 years’ worth of operations here, the growth prospects are still huge and Patrick Fitzgibbon who is the Senior VP of Development for Europe, Middle East & Africa commented recently that ‘the latest agreements signify the demand for Hilton Brands across the country – we look forward to collaborating with valuable business partners in this new phase of growth’.

At a recent tourism conference held in Antalya the CEO of Jet2, Steve Heapy, also expressed his positive views on the tourism industry in Turkiye, and the significant investments that had been made on infrastructure over the recent years. Turkish Hotels have massively improved on important aspects such as hygiene, comfort, and food standards which has helped contribute to the overall increase in numbers, plus, with Türkiye’s natural beauty and key historical sites, it has the ability to offer a diverse and unique experience to travellers.

One of the biggest online booking sites, Booking.com, have also noted that Turkiye is one of the most highly impactful and active destinations on the global stage. Carlo Olejniczak who is the Senior VP and GM of Booking.com for Europe, Middle East and Africa expressed that ‘Turkiye is one of the most sought-after places on our platform, and 2023 is going very well for booking.com’. There is massive demand for holidays right now, and early reservations have increased by 30%. 2024 will certainly be a positive season.
