In response to rising passenger demand, Turkish Airlines is increasing the number of flights from
Manchester to Istanbul.
Beginning on May 19th, Turkey’s flag carrier will run a fourth service, bringing the total number of weekly flights to and from Manchester to 25 during the busiest summer months.
The airline currently operates four more services (one daily) to Istanbul from Manchester on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. There are currently three daily flights from Manchester to Istanbul.
“Turkish Airlines’ four additional weekly flights to Istanbul will meet the expected rise in demand to visit Turkey’s top tourism destination,” stated Manchester General Manager Serhat Gök. Travellers from Europe and the United Kingdom love Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines has also revealed additional flights on important routes from Istanbul to other locations in the United Kingdom. In the summer of 2024, there will be an additional four weekly flights from Birmingham to Istanbul and four more from London Gatwick to Istanbul. As a result, the airline will run 112 flights per week between Istanbul and London.
Furthermore, in Scotland, starting in the summer of 2024, three more weekly flights will run from Edinburgh to Istanbul. Additionally, the airline offers seven weekly flights during the summer from London Gatwick to Antalya.
