Tourism in Turkey continues into winter

Recent reports show that there has been a high increase in demand in both international and domestic travel for Turkey and it looks like it will be continuing through the winter.

Ömer Kodet, CFO of Biletbayisi.com, has expressed optimism about the continued growth in the tourism sector, predicting strong momentum through the winter season of 2024.

Biletbayisi.com is well-equipped to meet the rising demand with its extensive range of travel services, including airline tickets, car rentals, and bus tickets, plus it also provides plenty of options to make your travelling experience more affordable and convenient.

Omer Kodet stated that “Turkey is attracting more interest each year from tourists from various regions due to its range of tourism options.”

He added that “Especially with our historical, cultural and natural riches, the demand for summer and winter tourism is growing in a balanced way.”

Kodet also noted a growing interest in Turkey’s top ski resorts and thermal facilities. A number of renowned ski areas are becoming popular among international tourists seeking memorable winter vacations.

Kodet stated that “While cities like Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya and Trabzon continue to see strong demand year-round, we are also observing a significant increase in flights to destinations like Erzurum and Kayseri during the winter season.”

The demand for travelling from abroad to Turkey has increased by 35%, whilst domestic flights on Biletbayisi.com has increased by 40%.

Turkey’s goal is to attract 60 million tourists by the end of 2024, generating an impressive $60 billion in tourism revenue, solidifying its position as a top global travel destination.
