August 16th saw Norwegian Princess Martha Louise and her fiance Shaman Durek arrive in Bodrum.
On August 17th the Princess and her fiance were seen dining at the Rebis Hotel at the invitation of the Mayor of Bodrum, Ahmet Aras. The mayor stated that he was happy to host for the Norwegian Princess.
The Princess and her fiance are already familiar with this region of Turkey. The couple stayed in Bodrum for a few days before the Princess returned to her country, Norway.
Several gifts were given to the visitors as well as a portrait of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
