Bodrum is well known for it’s luxurious yacht sightings and last week was no different as we saw the ‘Al Salamah’, the ‘Sunrays’ and the ‘Eclipse’ in it’s waters.
The ‘Al Salamah’ is owned by King Bin Salma of Saudi Arabia, and with an estimated value of $200m, it boasts a cinema, library, business centre, fully equipped hospital, gymnasium and a spa.
The ‘Sunrays’ next to it, is owned by two Indian brothers and split over six decks with accommodation for up to 22 guests, and comes with it’s very own helipad!
Roman Abromovich is the owner of the Eclipse, last here in 2015, and is an estimated $500m, and comes with 70 crew! It offers a top speed of 40km per hour, has 1 mini-submarine, 3 landing boats, 2 helipads, two swimming pools, and a missile detection system!
It’s great to see them back for a holiday here, even if we don’t get to meet them directly – we may have had a drink or two with some of their entourage though…
