You may see the ever-changing vista of Şövalye Island if you stand in Fethiye, near the harbour, or along Çalış Beach, and gaze out into the bay.
Stunning whitewashed villas near the top of Şövalye Island, where trees grow up the mountain are a focal point. From the southern end of Çalış Beach, a significant portion of the island is obscured from view. We refer to it as “constantly changing” since it appears that the island’s shape changes drastically after only a short stroll.
You could mistakenly believe that Şövalye is just a jutting mound in the sea from the southern end of Çalış Beach, which is long, low, and reaching. However, it is actually a mound with a scattering of villas clinging to the steep hillsides.
The island’s top tip hides the treats that await those who make the quick journey there. While you wait at the pier for a boat service to arrive and pick you up to take you across the water to the hotels and restaurants, you will see the amazing view of Şövalye Island.
