If history is more your thing than journey slightly over to the north of the resort and you will find the Ancient Temple of Apollo, steeped in history, plus everything around this area has been kept in keeping, roads, street lighting and there a host of crafts shops and some lovely restaurants here too.

If you continue through you will reach the small village of Mavisher.
