With the opening of a brand-new 18-hole championship golf course in Dalaman in June, a new era in golf tourism in this region of Turkey is about to begin. Everyone is thrilled because it’s only a 20-minute drive from Dalaman International Airport!
EasyJet, a low-cost airline based in Britain, has opened a new base at Newcastle Airport, greatly expanding its flying network. With three aircraft, the new station will provide flights from Newcastle to 22 different locations.
Along with Antalya and Dalaman, the recently introduced itineraries include well-known locations like Corfu, Rhodes, Rome, and Tenerife.
According to EasyJet CEO Kenton Jarvis, the investment is a crucial component of the company’s expansion strategy in the UK and the new base will improve regional connectivity, especially in the northeast.
With over 6 million people this year, the airport is predicted to set a new record.
