Beginning in mid-May of next year, the award-winning airline will run up to seven weekly flights to Antalya and up to four weekly flights to Dalaman.
It was stated earlier in the year that EasyJet would establish a facility at Newcastle International Airport, which would offer new routes, including 11 that were announced during the summer, in addition to creating jobs in the area.
Next summer, new routes to Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey, the Greek islands of Rhodes and Corfu, Faro in Portugal, the Mediterranean island of Malta, the Spanish city of Reus, the cultural hub of Prague, and the first route from Newcastle to Nice in the South of France are scheduled to begin.
