Speaking of his happiness at visiting the refuge, Mehmet Salih Açar said he went to the reeds on a recommendation and was delighted to see so many flamingos with their young. He emphasized the value of getting back in touch with nature and called the location a beautiful bird paradise. Another person who loves the outdoors, Yalçın Savran, mentioned that he loves to spend his weekends at Akgöl and that it shows how much he values the natural environment.
