July saw Antalya's largest daily visitor intake

Antalya, Turkey’s most popular tourist destination, saw the largest daily influx of foreign tourists for the month of July in the previous five years, a senior official reported.

Back in July on the 12th, 100,646 foreign guests arrived at Antalya and Gazipasa Airports, according to a social media post by Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

“This data has been recorded as the highest daily foreign visitor number for the month of July in the last five years; Antalya “has left another peak in tourism behind.”

“On July 12, 2025, a total of 100,646 foreign visitors entered through our Antalya and Gazipaşa airports. This data has been recorded as the highest daily foreign visitor number for the month of July in the last five years. It also came very close to the all-time record of 102,755 set in August 2024,” he said.

“Thanks to the strong tourism infrastructure and the determined collaboration of the sector, Antalya’s international appeal is growing every day,” he added.

Ersoy congratulated everyone who helped make this success possible, especially the sector stakeholders, and underlined that the work being done under the “Century of Türkiye” vision will further strengthen the nation’s position in the tourist industry.

The government also revealed that the most recent data shows the highest daily foreign visitor counts for July of 2021–2025. The data presented indicates that 1,869 international visitors arrived in Turkey via Gazipaşa Airport, whereas 98,777 foreign visitors arrived through Antalya Airport.
