Tucked away in Ölüdeniz, Turkey’s Blue Lagoon is one of the best beaches in the planet, according to the Daily Mail’s list of the “Greatest Beaches in the World” as summer draws near.
The Daily Mail, the premier newspaper in the United Kingdom, contacted industry insiders and foreign travel specialists to find out which beaches are considered the “Best Beaches in the World.” The Blue Lagoon was added to the list, giving Turkey a prominent place. Blue Lagoon Beach, which is in the Fethiye neighbourhood of Muğla, is situated in Ölüdeniz and was chosen as a standout.
CEO of Jet2 and Jet2holidays Steve Heapy said, “It’s easy to see why the area around Dalaman in Turkey has been dubbed the Turquoise Coast when you feast your eyes on its pristine azure waters,” in response to a query regarding the Blue Lagoon. There are several beaches to visit, but the Blue Lagoon at Ölüdeniz is one that really sticks out in my opinion. “The wide bay, white sands, vibrant blue waters, and mountainous backdrop make it the perfect place to unwind,” he continued. “It sits in an emerald- green national park.”
Situated at the southern tip of Ölüdeniz, a beach renowned for its golden sands and transparent waters, the Blue Lagoon is a veritable haven with its azure waters and breathtaking scenery. The Blue Lagoon is located inside the Ölüdeniz Nature Park, where its charm is being maintained. The Blue Lagoon and Ölüdeniz Beach offer great settings for outdoor recreation and water sports. In addition, the area’s 1960-meter-tall Babadağ Mountain is a well-known paragliding destination worldwide.
