The beach is also backed by a range of all inclusive hotels. For a quieter option, there is Kustur Beach, which tends to be less busy.
Or maybe you will venture to the newly developing area of Davutlar, which lies close to the Dilek Peninsula and just south of Kusadasi, the area is peaceful and tranquil and has a great selection of sandy beaches, with cool clean waters, which separate you from the Island of Samos a great place to sit and whatch the sun setting. Davutlar is only 9 miles from the centre of Kusadasi and very accessible by local transport. Davutlar is a traditional agricultural village, so you can stop and buy from the roadside, great tasting fruit and vegtable nut it is fast becoming a hotspot for investors.
Kusadasi has three water-parks within easy reach, too. There’s Aqualand, at Kusadasi’s Long Beach, for a start. And on the outskirts, you’ve got Aqua Fantasy, part of an upmarket hotel and spa complex, which comes with DJs and dance shows as well. And last but not least, there’s Adaland, with its dolphin and sea park.
The ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus are just half an hour away. You can see the remains of the Temple of Artemis, the Roman library, and even the public toilets and a sign for the brothel. Just outside the city is the house where the Virgin Mary is said to have died.
