Belek is a resort town on the Turkish Riviera, is known for its very clean, white-sand beaches surrounded by pine forests.
History buffs should plan a day trips to the Roman ruins at Perge and the Aspendos amphitheatre. Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival - The festival is held in Antalya, about a 30 minute drive away. Enjoy live, beautiful performances in the open-air Theatre of Aspendos (1st June - 15th Sept)
Side International Culture and Arts Festival - The festival takes place in Side, about an hours drive away and is the biggest event of the year. You will be able to enjoy a variety of open air concerts and jazz and ballroom dancing in the ancient amphitheatre and Temple of Apollo (23rd July - 17th Sept)

Blue Flag Beach-
One of Belek’s highlights is its beautiful Blue Flag Beach. This glorious sandy beach is 16 kilometers in length and comes with all sorts of extras too, like showers and changing rooms. This is a very popular spot for all to enjoy.
Belek is known for its fantastic golf courses. They spread out from the resort and out into the Antalya region. Keen golfers can enjoy the sun while they tee off and enjoy the many courses that have been designed by the likes of Nick Faldo. After a long game there are plenty of clubhouses where you can sit back and relax.
Troy Aqua and Dolphinarium Water Park-
This fantastic water park is a great day out for all the family to enjoy. There are many pools, including a wave pool, plenty of slides, an adventure river and an aquarium containing sharks, dogtooth groupers, thornback rays, octopuses, Mediterranean morays and tropical fish. Part of Troy Aqua is Dolphinarium where you sit and enjoy shows featuring whales, dolphins and walruses. You can also have the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. It really is the perfect fun filled day out.
Roman Ruins at Perge-
Situated twenty minutes away from Belek are is this incredible and very well preserved Roman ruins. You can explore the what once was the amphitheater, the Roman temple and the public baths. In the road, grooves from the chariot wheels can be still be seen. You can really get a sense of what life whats like back then.
