These two airports sitting on the southern coast of Turkey in the Mugla region have this summer reported passenger traffic of over 7 million so far this year. The month of August alone reporting 7/8% increase on last year’s numbers.
Another strong development for the Turkish tourism industry.
Whilst both airports do scale down through the off season winter months, there are still domestic and some international flights arriving and departing, as climate changes are affecting the weather across the world, holiday seasons are being extended, so how long before these airports see more traffic in the autumn months.
