The first Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament is to be held in the Mediterranean region of Antalya. The tournament is due to start on the 5th January until the 13th January.
Due to the ongoing pandemic of Covid 19 the tournament will be held without spectators and all social distancing and safety measures will be in order. Qualifying matches are to be held on the 5 – 6 January and the main table matches will be played on the 7 – 13th January.
Matteo Berrettini, world no.10 will be leading the three top 20 players in one of two tournaments which are set to take place in week 1 of the ATP calendar. David Goffin, world no.15 and Fabio Fognini, world no.17 both are in the world’s top 10 and will also be competing in the tournament. Two time champion of ATP tour Borna Coric and Jan-Lennard Struff will also be competing to take home the championship.
Plenty of up and coming stars will be playing in the tournament and will be led by 2019 Next Gen ATP Finals winner Jannik Sinner. Players Alex de Minaur and Emil Ruusuvuori will also be taking part in the tournament.
The tournament will be broadcast on TRT Spor 2 starting from the quarter-finals.
