The city of Alanya, is on Turkey’s southwest coast and is situated in the Antalya province of southern Turkey, it’s about 133km east of the city of Antalya. A cosmopolitan mix of bustling bars along the riverfront, along with the harbour and castle of Alanya. A soaring peninsula divides the area’s two Blue Flag beaches. The more well-known of the two is Cleopatra Beach, which is located on the western side. A stunning view of the castle may be seen from this 2km stretch of sand.

The water’s edge on the Eastern Beach is a little bit rockier. The disco bars are a nice spot to have a drink in the evening before the major clubs around the harbour get rolling around 11 o’clock; the nightlife is legendary.

What is the town of Alanya in Turkey like?

The majority of the bustling pubs and restaurants in Alanya’s town centre, which is centred on the historic harbour, are open all year round. Numerous five-star hotels can be found in the city, and innumerable stores will lure you with jewellery and leather products.

A trip to the Archaeology and Ethnography Museum is a must for history buffs. For a more leisurely day, go on a boat tour or simply unwind on one of the Blue Flag beaches.

Visit the famous Alanya Castle, learn about its history, and take in the breathtaking 360-degree views. Take a journey down to the harbour after visiting the castle to examine the Red Tower, which was constructed in 1226 to defend the castle. The Old Shipyard, which is also close by, is interesting to see.

AVSALLAR

Is a modest, peaceful tourist town 25km west of the heart of Alanya. A magnificent beach with a variety of water sports activities is 500 metres away. The town centre, where you can find a range of stores, cafes, restaurants, and neighbourhood amenities, is only 750 metres away.

BEKTAS

Is recognised for its unmatched panoramic views and natural beauty, and sits 500m above sea level. Just 2 kilometres separate you from Alanya’s city centre and the renowned Cleopatra Beach.

KARGICAK

Is a charming village that still exudes its old-world charm and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the highlands of the Taurus Mountains. The distance between Kargicak Village and the centre of Alanya is 15 kilometres.

MAHMUTLAR

Is a little resort, but it boasts a wonderful centre with lots of charming shops, cafes, and terrific restaurants, as well as a recently opened shopping mall and a stunning seashore.

OBA

Is a well-liked area of Alanya that has a lovely beach and a fantastic town centre with lots of stores, cafes, restaurants, and bars as well as amenities. You can travel into the heart of Alanya by the local bus service.

TOSMUR

Is located next to the Dim River and is encircled by lots of greenery. Tosmur itself features a wide range of facilities and amenities in addition to a gorgeous beach promenade lined with lovely stores, excellent restaurants, and markets.

TUESDAY AND SUNDAY: These markets are next to Toptan Hal/Wholesalers and a short distance from Can Hospital, primarily sells clothing and home items.
