Teknofest Blue Homeland Turkey’s premier technology, aviation, and space event saw 175,000 people in Istanbul in September, according to the organizers of the special maritime-themed edition.
This year, Teknofest, the biggest aerospace and technology festival in the nation, has grown to include a special maritime-themed edition that highlights Turkey’s naval prowess and cutting-edge technologies. “Teknofest Blue Homeland,” a four-day event, was held at the Istanbul Shipyard Command.
According to a statement from Teknofest, 2,698 teams submitted applications for the events this year, which were divided into three categories: underwater rockets, unmanned marine vehicles, and unmanned underwater systems.
The contests featured creative projects. Eighty-six teams made it to the finals after advancing through the preliminary rounds. Additionally, the Teknofest event featured talks, performances, activities, exhibitions, and seminars. Its primary edition took place at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport over four days last month.
