New direct flights for Summer 2022 will run from Gatwick to Turkey thanks to SunExpress.

SunExpress is a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. Flights will run from Gatwick to Dalaman and Antalya and it has been reported that flights will cost as little as £59.00.

Commerical Director at SunExpress Peter Glade has stated that “This is a win-win situation: Gatwick passengers can enjoy attractive and direct connections to the most beautiful destinations in Turkey and SunExpress can offer our services in an underserved market.”

Airline Business Development Manager of Gatwick Airport David Bell said “Turkey is among our most popular destinations at Gatwick, being a fantastic location for family holidays, couples’ retreats and getaways with friends. We are delighted Sun Express will be flying to Dalaman and Antalya next summer, providing passengers across London and the South East with another option to enjoy the beauty of Turkey.”

Flights have already gone on sale, you can find these at sunexpress.com. Flights to both Dalaman and Antalya are scheduled to run three times week starting from May 2022.
