Below are some of the most amazing beaches you must visit when in Bodrum:

Gumusluk Beach is a charming beach which in the summer months can get rather crowded but is more peaceful outside the peak moths and is definitely worth a visit. The beach offers golden sands, clear blue waters and the most stunning views. Fabulous restaurants and bars are backing the beach, the perfect place to sit and dine in the evening while enjoying the gorgeous sunset.

Kadikalesi Beach is long and wide and offers a tranquil relaxing atmosphere. As Kadikalesi is a smaller, rural village it does not get alot of holidaymakers so the beach will not be as crowded as others. This beach is perfect for those looking to lay back and relax under the sun. There are a few water sport activities available, the breeze Kadikalesi offers is perfect for those who enjoy windsurfing.

Bitez Beach is set 6 miles from Gumbet. Bitez enjoys a strong smell of sea in the air and a light breeze. It often attracts an older crowd but still offers a great variety of water sports available to all. Bitez also offers some terrific pontoos for the more advanced swimmers. The restaurants and bars along the back of the beach offer free sunloungers and umbrellas, if of course you purchase food and drinks from them.

Yashi Beach in Ortakent is a favorite with Turkish holidaymakers. The beach offers soft golden sand and clear calm waters making it a perfect choice for those with children. You can relax on a sunlounger and gaze out at the beautiful view of Kos in the distance. There are plenty of water sport activities available like surfing, jet skis, parasailing and there is even a local diving school. Close by the beach are some lovely restaurants where you can enjoy a daytime snack or enjoy an evening meal while overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Karaincir Plaj Beach is located in Akyarlar and is 500 metres in length. The beach has everything, sun, sea and sand making it a perfect day out for all the family. There are many sun-loungers and umbrellas available to hire, plus there are a few jetties also offering sunbathing spots.  As the years have gone on more and more people have discovered its natural beauty which has increased its popularity over the years. Daily boat trips as well as private yachts dock just off the coastline for people to come visit this wonderful area.
